After an NCRP (National Cybercrime Reporting Portal) complaint registered by 81-year-old Gopal, a resident of Dwarka, New Delhi, on 8 December 2024 of a digital arrest and fraud transaction of Rs 15 lakh, a team from Cyber Police Station, South West District, arrested four of the accused, namely Imran Qureshi, Asad Qureshi, Dev Sagar, and Javed from the Paharganj area.

The prime accused, Abhishek Yadav, was arrested from Jhanshi, UP. The team also seized 11 smartphones, 6 ATMs, one laptop, and numerous bank account chequebooks from the accused.
