India vs England squad Live: Ahmed brothers make history, Rew to lead

Leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed and his younger brother Farhan will feature together in an England representative squad for the first time.

Rehan, already capped in all formats for England, will play the Canterbury game before joining the national squad for the T20I series against West Indies.

Somerset’s promising wicketkeeper-batter James Rew has been named captain of the Lions for the first time.

Medium pacer Ajeet Singh Dale also finds a place in the squad. Essex batter Jordan Cox is expected to return for the second game after recovering from an abdominal injury that ruled him out of the Zimbabwe Test.
