During his visit to Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Deshnoke, Bikaner, where he strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He said the bullets fired in Pahalgam targeted the entire nation, not just the victims. “The terrorists asked about the religion of our sisters before removing the sindoor from their foreheads. This attack pained 140 crore Indians. Every citizen took a pledge to punish the terrorists, and our forces fulfilled that resolve,” he said, adding that the government gave a free hand to the Army, Navy, and Air Force to act decisively.

He further stated that infrastructure spending plays a direct role in boosting the economy and employment. “The crores spent by the government go into wages of labourers, shopkeepers, and factory workers. This boosts both employment and local businesses,” he added.

Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated 103 Amrit Bharat stations virtually, including three redeveloped stations in Jharkhand — Govindpur Road, Rajmahal, and Shankarpur. He said these modern stations would improve passenger amenities and promote local culture, as many are being decorated with regional art.

State-level dignitaries including former Union Minister Arjun Munda and State Land and Revenue Minister Dipak Birua attended the inauguration event in Jharkhand. PM Modi also reiterated his government’s commitment to making India a developed nation, saying blessings from Karni Mata strengthen the resolve for a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
